What happens if the death happens outside of my city?
You must hire a funeral agency to transport the body. At Jardines de Paz we can offer the wake in an agency affiliated with our network or transport the dead body to an agency affiliated with our network in México.

When is it necessary to embalm the body?
When you need to transport the body to another city or country for the wake. This is to preserve the body.

Can a wake be performed for ashes?
If the relatives wish, it can be done.

What is the difference between an official death and a natural death?
Official death is when the police department must intervene due to the circumstances of the death. Natural death is when just a medical certificate with the cause of death is needed to issue the death certificate.

Can I keep the ashes or I have to dispose of them?
There are no restrictions on ashes and you can decide what to do with them.

What kind of cemeteries are there in Cancún and how many are there?
